What is KYOTO SMART CITY EXPO
Kyoto Smart City Expo is one of the largest events on the theme of smart cities in Japan, attracting a total of more than 10,000 participants over two days.
It has been held annually since 2014 as an international event to create new innovations for smart cities in the research and development open innovation hub "Keihanna Science City" where more than 150 research, educational, and cultural facilities are concentrated.
This year will be the main event of "Keihanna Expo 2025", which will be held in conjunction with the Osaka-Kansai Expo, and will introduce smart city initiatives and the latest technologies and services from around the world, including AI, healthtech / femtech, metaverse, foodtech, and local government digital transformation, to create a new creativity.
